Following the Taitung tourist bus and Chu-Kung LOHAS Express, the Taitung County Government and Taiwan Railway Administration have jointly launched an exclusive promotional offer. The introduction of “Taitung Easy Travel Train Ticket” is specifically designed to providing independent travelers a much convenient form of transportation.

With immediate effect until the end of December, 2010, independent travelers can purchase a one-day or three-day train pass for NT$150 and NT$400 respectively. The print-friendly tickets can be downloaded from the official site of Taitung County Government Department of Culture and Tourism directly and purchase tickets at any designated railway stations upon presentation of printed coupon.

The one-day and three-day train passes provide unlimited transit use on all types of train except tourism-oriented trains and other designated trains at any railway stations between Dawu and Cishang within Taitung County. In this case, the seating service is not valid for this promotion.
