The Maolin National Scenic Area (NSA) Administration of the Tourism Bureau, M.O.T.C. will continue to hold the distinguished “2008 Austronesian Wedding” activity in cooperation with the Tourism Bureau’s “2008-2009 Tour Taiwan Years” project. Since the start of this activity in 2005, its unique characteristics have attracted many non-aboriginal Taiwanese couples to participate, and additionally many international couples have also taken part. The romantic and exotic-flavored weddings have received unanimous recognition and approval from its participants and critics. In light of the success of this activity and the importance of packaging aboriginal wedding customs into a tourist attraction to promote local tourism, this year (2008), the Maolin NSA will once again cooperate with Sandimen Township and Wutai Township to combine traditional Majia Township song festivals into a series of activities known as the “2008 Austronesian Weddings- Love at Liangshan- Paiwan Vows- Rukai Oaths”.
Would you like to experience the dignity and honor of wearing a gorgeous traditional aboriginal wedding gown? Do you want to make your wedding unforgettable?
